To all those who just don't get it!

*Scenerio for you* If a child was going into school as a boy (say 8 year old) let's call him Sam. Then say six months later he turned around and said he wanted to dress as a girl and be called Sarah. All his friends and peers have ONLY ever known him as Sam. Now you tell me how a school/ teachers then explain that to a classroom of 30+ children who are 7/8 years old? Then to a school of say 600 children who have 4/5 years olds in reception? WITHOUT causing confusion??? Love to hear how anyone here questioning my concerns, would tackle that situation to ensure EVERY child can FULLY understand how, why, Sam has changed!?

Oh, you're really obsessed with this topic, ain't you? Speaking of extremists..
Lanie78 · 41-45, F
@Elessar No I just fail to understand why many here can not see my point. Doesn't mean I have an extreme view. I have a realist/practical out look. Nothing in life is that simple.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Lanie78 No, you don't, you make these posts because you're obsessed with spinning a certain narrative. You're desperately trying to find the edge case in order to push anti-transgenderism, and this is evident not from this post alone, but the multitude of posts of yours on the topic, which constitute like 90% of the posts of yours I happen to see on the feed. I've rarely if ever seen you posting about anything else. You sound 100% like those "pro-life" single issue radicals, fixated with their ideological war.

@Elessar I'm not anti anything. You carry on making assumptions though. You haven't answered by question though, because you can't. Instead you attack me 👍

@Elessar

It seems to me , that the real problem lies within @Lanie78 , and is struggling with the idea of acceptance of factual nature of beings ,,, which for some of us, is tough ,,, and is masquerading it through the politics of education for children ,,,

I , being a parent , am directly involved daily , and my kids are not struggling in the slightest ... My daughter/son has more than one school mate who identifies as they-them ...my son openly discussed this possibility of their nature being that as well , and we listened to without judgement , and engaged ,..

My kids don't share too much of anything that goes on in school ,, but they do throw these matters on the table sometimes , and I realized pretty quickly that they definitely have greater understanding and empathy for other kids than I ever did as a kid ....

@Lanie78 Yeah you aren't anti-trans and I'm Batman lol

No dude, it's hardly an assumption, anyone who has a plurality of neurons and have read the contents of your posts and even more so the replies on your posts can smell the bullsh*t from afar.

And I'm not here to help you spin a certain political narrative, @Gloomy has answered your question and even in that case you'd have to b*tch about something, because her reply didn't really help your cause.

Cry harder-
Lanie78 · 41-45, F
@Elessar You call me anti yet you're sexist. Figures. You really struggle don't you with my posts and become abusive. Are you like that to all women? Oh and no, no-one has yet answered my question? All very vague and dancing around it 🤷
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Lanie78 And here comes the strawman. No dude, I don't really have a problem with women, and merely pointing out that you're here to spin certain narratives while hiding behind "I'm just asking a question", when 99% of the posts/comments of yours are parroting anti-trans narratives isn't really being abusive, in my part of the world it's called "calling the bullsh*t out".

Again, cry harder.

@Lanie78

Everyone here has answerred you quite clearly @Lanie78

Its quite obvious that you are stuck ...and to get unstuck , you need to stop being so polarized

Elessar is only pointing out to you what is now becoming glaringly obvious ..Is that you you have no interest in listening to other views at this point in time ..
Lanie78 · 41-45, F
@BobbyMoeven Actually not everyone. They've answered in how they believe it should go. My views are not offensive. Only those offended are those who cannot see the question from all viewpoints or who don't fully understand what I asked.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Lanie78 Nice strawman. The only one getting "offended", here, is you:
Come back to me when you can interact in a respectful manner

The point being made here is that your posts are clearly and unequivocally pushing a certain political agenda, while you like pretending you're neutral on the topic. Nobody said anything about the post being offensive, but politicized.
Lanie78 · 41-45, F
@Elessar You're being offensive towards me. Both sexist and name calling. Immature.
BobbyMoeven · 51-55, M
@Lanie78

Nobody has called your views offensive ... In the slightest !!!

Being called out as being an extremist about an issue , is not at all the same as being called offensive ...

Case in point ..
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Lanie78 I'm not. You have a problem with opinions differing from yours and even more so with being called out for pushing an agenda while you pretend you don't. The one throwing random accusations (of sexism), again, isn't me here.
