Dear LGBTQ+ people.

To what extent are 'gender critical' perspectives mainstream in your community?

I apologise for the possible sensitivity for the question. I'm a straight cis man who wants to be a ally to trans people. A certain friend of mine has been trying to 'educate' me with 'gender critical' perspectives. I'm highly skeptical of a lot if things he tells me. I know that trans exclusionary feminism is a thing.

To what extent is this a real debate within the LGBTQ+ community and to what extent is it atroturfed (astroTERFED 🤣) by certain political interests.

Terfs are generally not welcomed. They have literally no swagger and their moves are weak.
Most LGBT circles agree that gender is purely about identity. If a male identifies as a woman, then she's a woman.
