Do people who don't respect trans people realise that nobody owes them any explanations and that all we have to do is wait for them to die of old age?

Younger generations are becoming more accepting towards LGBTs at a faster and faster rate. It's not like some 40-something reactionary bigot is going to matter in 20 years, let alone when they're dead.
