What a nice thing to be able to do. Recently I too have ventured out of the house in my nightie,but only for a few minutes. The only difference is I have done it in the dark. I don't have total privacy in my back garden thanks to a damaged fence.

Yes I do like that feeling but now the colder nights are coming in here. I do not own the house I live in but hopefully the fence will be fixed soon.

@silkydrawers: I just use a tumble dryer remembering to turn my nightie inside out when washing it. I can't reach the clothes line anyway.

@silkydrawers: Unfortunate. Being a private crossdresser I prefer to use the dryer and put them away as quickly as I can.
