Does anyone else get kinda weirded out when someone says they're autosexual?

I was like "wut?" the first time I heard about it. But now I'm more curious than anything. I wonder what romantic relationships and sexual relationships with others look like for them. Or what autosexuality means for different individuals. Like are they able to be attracted to more than just themselves? Many questions.

I can get turned on by my self, but I doubt it's the same thing autosexuals experience. At least I can understand and relate a bit.

I did not know what that was til I read your response. It makes sense they would boast about it, after all being attracted to ones self is a sign of being self absorbed.

Srsly though, a little bit. But I've sort of experienced a similar feeling a handful of times in my life so it's not that weird to me. eta: I've never personally met any people that claimed to be autosexual. Just seen them online.

I look at it this way . If it doesn't hurt anyone who cares .

I can't relate personally, and it does seem strange to me. But I guess to each their own. I guess it doesn't creep me out as long as they aren't hurting anyone. I've heard that narcissists are autosexual, but they (or at least I think most of them) DO need someone else, or at least the fantasy of someone else, to get them off. But I guess that's not the same thing.
