What do you think of trans women in sports? Is it fair to the biological women?

I'm all about trans men and women being accepted and recognized as the gender with witch they identify.
My view of it is, i have no idea what it's like to feel like i'm in the wrong body so who am i to judge.

No issues with bathrooms or changerooms etc.
But when it comes to sports and competition, i can't help but feel like there's a problem.
Is it fair for a trans woman to be competing against biological women? After all, they'll have the strength of a man and there's a reason that we separate men and women in sporting events.

Keep things respectful here.

OK, the Downhill Derby Races are coming up soon.
Get those Soapbox Derby cars ready.

This year we're opening the field to motorized vehicles under 750 HP, and unlike the Soapbox cars that must be built by the kids that race them, the motorized cars can be built by professional teams backed by sponsors with lots of money.

We're doing this to keep things fair.
@Budwick

....what do you think you're arguing against?
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Pikachu The stupid idea of unmatched competitors and pretending it's cool.
@Budwick

lol and who do you think is arguing against the idea that trans women competing against biological women is not necessarily fair?
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Pikachu I can't really tell what your triple negative sentence means.
@Budwick

Well hit me up when you figure it out.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Pikachu Yeah, not much hope in you making sense all on your own.
@Budwick

You know, you are allowed to just ask for clarification, right?
But of course, that's only if your primary aim is clarity, not petty one upsmanship...

@Pikachu
You know, you are allowed to just ask for clarification, right?
And, YOU know you are allowed to post clarifications when someone tells you it's needed, right?
@Budwick

You didn't ask.
Are you asking now?
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Pikachu Sure, Please, untangle this question.
who do you think is arguing against the idea that trans women competing against biological women is not necessarily fair?

@Budwick

You got it, buddy🙂

You began your commentary in this post by saying i had lost respect just by asking this question.
You then proceeded to argue against the idea that it's fair for trans women to compete against biological women even though literally no one in the thread had made that claim.

So i asked you, who do you think is arguing against the idea that trans women competing against biological women is not necessarily fair, since you seemed to be under the impression that myself or someone else held a contrary position.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Pikachu Oh.

I was simply responding to the BOLD headline in your question - What do you think of trans women in sports? Is it fair to the biological women?

I don't know who supports the concept.
I don't really care.
It's stupid.
It's as stupid as my Soap Box Derby Analogy.

Why do you automatically think everything is about you?
@Budwick

*ahem*

"You lost respect when you asked this question".

You made it about me in your first post, champ😉
Seems like you've spent a lot of time replying to a thread devoted to a subject you don't care about.

If i'm being honest, i think you saw that i had posted the thread and immediately reacted antagonistically which caused you to misunderstand (or maybe ignore) what i had actually said.

So, we all done here or...?

@Pikachu
So, we all done here or...?
Sure - I was done several comments ago.
I've just responded cuz, well, you know - I'm courteous!
@Budwick

lol sure. We'll go with that.

You wern't invited.
