What do you think of trans women in sports? Is it fair to the biological women?

I'm all about trans men and women being accepted and recognized as the gender with witch they identify.
My view of it is, i have no idea what it's like to feel like i'm in the wrong body so who am i to judge.

No issues with bathrooms or changerooms etc.
But when it comes to sports and competition, i can't help but feel like there's a problem.
Is it fair for a trans woman to be competing against biological women? After all, they'll have the strength of a man and there's a reason that we separate men and women in sporting events.

Keep things respectful here.

“You can’t just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women. There must be some standards, and having a penis and competing as a woman would not fit that standard.” - Martina Navratilova.

I think she summed it up best.

No.
While i agree with the idea that there is an issue when a trans woman competes against a biological woman, i think that's a pretty ignorant way to sum it up, actually.
@Pikachu When it comes to womens athletics, I will leave that to the female experts/champions, which Navratilova certainly is.
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy

Like i said, i feel her conclusion is valid. I just don't think her presentation of the idea was particularly charitable.

@Pikachu I agree..... Her conclusion is valid.
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy

And her presentation of the idea was ignorant. Agreed.
