How is life for you being LGBT?

This is a semi personal question as I'm struggling with some current circumstances but How is life for you? How are you treated in the region of which you're located? Are you out publicly? (The whole shabang of questions)...

Personally like when I'm alone, I like that I know who I am. I don't push it away. I used to just disregard it but I never dismissed it. Now I completely accept it. It's a bit difficult because I'm not completely out. My family doesn't know and they're homophobic as fuck so I'm never telling them. You can imagine the comments about other people they spit and I just keep to myself. I'm always careful about telling people so it doesn't get to my family. I'm always anxious when I'm called for a talk because I'm scared they'll find out behind my back.

@wackidywack Oh man... I'm so sorry :/ It really sucks that you have to walk on eggshells when it comes to being gay and out... I'm in the same boat when it comes to being out, very few and specific people know so I get that... :/

@Ryrylovesyouse I'm just making it work haha. How are you in your situation ?
Ryrylovesyouse · 22-25, M
@wackidywack Well... I'm sorta kinda making it work? I love with my grandparents (going through college n all that), I'm related to over half of the town I love in so if I date anyone, it's gotta be at least an hour away from wise to be sure I'm not dating family and it's not seen either... But the times I'm with friends who I know I can trust make life better so it's not too bad overall :) I just try to remain positive and I know life will change after college n all that fun stuff :D

I’m bi, but offline I’m in the closet to most people. My wife and a few close friends know, but most think I’m straight. My region isn’t the problem, as I’m from NYC....it’s mainly people that I know from my work, etc. Now that I’m retired, I can consider coming out at some point, but I’m in no rush to do so.

@DragonFruit Hmmm... Alriii Alriii, It's amazing to me how different everyone's life is just from changing small variables like your location in which you live, or if your family is religious or not, etc.... I do hope that you're happy though :)

Ryrylovesyouse · 22-25, M
@Deadcutie O.O Oh man... Is that bad huh?
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
@Ryrylovesyouse I can live with it
Ryrylovesyouse · 22-25, M
@Deadcutie ;-; well then... It sucks that you're having to hide it away though... Best of luck to ya :/
I’m bi but tend to be shy about it cuz I don’t wanna be shunned

@TexasOutlawTrey I'm somewhat in the same boat... I'm gay, in the south, and come from a heavily religious family :')

Many people here still consider LGBT shameful or a perversion. Such a social constraint made me to disimulate my bi-sexuality and never to make it publicly. Not a good idea 😢 for I lost many opportunities and now I regret it.
