Shortly after my divorce

I was 23, I think. It was the by far the single scariest thing I had done up to that point. My Mom is my best friend and my Dad is my hero and I was terrified that I would lose them forever.

2013. I waited until I was out of the house and had been in college for a bit. My dad never came out, no matter how many men he slept around with.

2 years ago when I wrote my mom a letter when she left out of town. I pretty much told her the truth about everything that happened to me as a kid, to my suicidal thoughts. and now we're closer than ever

When I was 21ish

ive come out to all my friends, however, with my family it will take a while! i plan to come out to them in a year or two
