Why did people fall into a romance scam?

They didn't want to speak to people in front of them but they prefer to speak to the online scammers.

If you love to hear hyperbolise words you may fall into the scam.

All online dating sites are romance scams, but there are plenty of other forms of 'romance' scamming that don't involve dating sites.
