Have you tried the sovereign citizen script/spiel with cops and/or in court? Do you know anyone that has?

I get calls at work from people trying to argue that they shouldn't have to provide the required documents to get a passport because they are a "sovereign citizen" or "national". 🙄

I just tell them too bad, if you want a federal document from the US government, you HAVE to provide evidence of citizenship. Period. If you don't, no passport. 🤷🏻‍♀

I saw it tried once. I didn't fall for it. The idiot ended up in jail. Driving on a suspended license that he said he didn't need. Meh!
