@MrAverage1965 Agreed. But estate agents fee model is based on % of sale price. Here it's around 2 to 3%. Lawyers charge by the minute! I use a conveyancer for my property transfers and theirs is a fee for service. Very reasonable!

They do tend to be very expensive.
I never understand why they charge more as the value of a transaction goes up. The same with estate agents.
For example when buying and selling a house. It's the same amount of work for them regardless of the price but they charge more as the price goes up.
