That you need it to be in a safe with like 500 locks on it, they should teach knife defence along with the firearms course.

Cause if a gunman enters your house, your forced to use a knife in a gun fight.

You know. Cause its safer that way.

@SomeMichGuy if a guy shows up at my house gun drawn, where am i going to find the time to call for help or fiddle with a safe combination? My best bet is my crossbow but i get one shot and it has to land or he could potentially dump a 12 round magazine at me.

What is the proper way to handle a situation like this by law?

Teach yourself--- its not to hard.
Throwing knives is the only way you may possibly win the knife against a gun, fight.

I go to my back yard and throw my knife set at the tree..

@HootyTheNightOwl i can actually relate to that pretty closely... i have scars myself. But not everyone has the exact same situation or level of self control. Iv known victims of rape and other abuse that have gone insane by dwelling on what happened to them for years causing them to be violent by nature because of how they learned to view the world at a young age. Human society can be a barbaric place to be. Some have it better than others.

@GuyWithOpinions I should hope not... no child should ever have to face what I did... let alone the 30 other known survivors of child on child sex abuse at school that I managed to save while sitting my exams.

Why did I do it??? They were set to make our rapist a prefect the year after I left...

But, maybe you're right, what I went through probably isn't as bad as some teenaged gang banger today.
