Is it ok for the police to use a car to kill a cow?

If there was an angry cow and the police didn't have a gun (in the UK the police don't have guns) would it be ok for the police to ram the car into the cow?

You gotta figure, if a deer, weighing a couple of hundred pounds, can seriously mess up a car, a cow would not be good for it either.

Send for a vet with a tranquilizer gun

@Monaschandroff86 Probably that too, but some vets that deal with large powerful animals have tools to help.
