New York passes gun laws......

They've successfully undermined the united states constitution to take away what is aeen as a god given right to the people. Are new Yorkers pissed about the right to self defense being taken away, or happy to trade their own personal freedom and responsibility for a sense of security?

The constitution of the USA, just like the constitution of Australia, or any other sovereign country, is not and never will be 'god given'. Trump perpetrates that sort of shite, and people like Mike Lindell line up to suck. Guns are intended to do only one thing - kill. There are very good reasons why gun availability and usage should be limited to people who actually need them (for work or primary industry) which then puts the spotlight on those who don't (everyone else) who should not be lawfully allowed to own or use a gun to threaten someone (or actually fire such) and claim it as 'self defence' when it all goes wrong.
