Been stopped by law enforcement?

I walked three blocks to a convenient store this afternoon. Watchin traffic I crossed 4 lanes but didn't use a cross walk. Was stopped in the parking lot. "Trying to warn about road fatalities" Then asked for Id which I hadn't brought with me. Name, DOB, SS# my address. Then he ran my name. Took my photo.

For crossing the street.

I have been stopped by law enforcement a bit often. Once even stopped due to apparently matching the description of a suspect they were after. That was fun convincing them I was not who they were seeking

@Torsten I think maybe that excuse or reasoning is one they are taught. "Fitting the description of". Not the first time I've heard it used. 🤷‍♀️
