As a pedestrian have you ever

Been stopped by law enforcement?

I walked three blocks to a convenient store this afternoon. Watchin traffic I crossed 4 lanes but didn't use a cross walk. Was stopped in the parking lot. "Trying to warn about road fatalities" Then asked for Id which I hadn't brought with me. Name, DOB, SS# my address. Then he ran my name. Took my photo.

For crossing the street.

i was fined for jaywalking 3 times in my life .. it was seriously faster than taking the overhead walk bridge

@SW-User See its stuff like that that seem to me they are just wrackin up revenue.

@Punxi i think so too, like come on, we are not blind we are adults we can cross the road better than the chicken who tried and got ran over ..

But they do have a point, if they keep allowing it, bad things can happen to chicken minded people
