Are shootings still news worthy?

It happens - then thoughts and prayers. Then it happens again.
Greyjedi · M
No. They most certainly not.
The latest shooter was a illegal ms-13 member.
The news reported him as white supremists…
It’s still newsworthy if you can push a narrative against conservatives or gun owners
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout how hard is it to "push the narrative" against people who actually like war, guns and inequality? Most people are against that stuff and don't need convincing.

Nah, they're boring arent' they? Let's raid another public building during an important democratic process and call it peaceful. That might be more interesting?

I get what you're saying....The hope is that eventually some action will be taken.

@originnone No, the only reason they get any television coverage is to get more more viewers. And the reason is the same for half the newspapers in the world, if not all. Money is the driving force behind sharing this horror. The only way to end this horrific repeating tragedy is to destroy weapons and war and self-reflect. The hard truth is that we are all responsible for this, but non more so than gun manufacturers, gunlobbyists and thoughtless bullies.

@Greyjedi That's true, but every time it happens, someone proposes a different law. Eventually, something will stick.
No. It's not important to gloat over gun violence every day.
Conservatives enjoy it but we don't.

Everything bad no matterhlw often it's repeated is going to the news so with that info, yes.
deadgerbil · 26-30
Literally a daily thing now. Schools, malls, banks, people's drive ways, no where is safe
ExtremeNext · 31-35
America needs more guns to stop the shootings 🤔
DDonde · 31-35, M
Where's the line. I'm still pissed off about it.
