Does anyone else feel that the increase in the use of Prozac and other anti-depressants are playing a role in the mass shootings?

@OwnerOfMany The theory that mass shootings are driven by psychotropic drugs, or that that mass shooters are even on said drugs in any unusual proportion.

@QuixoticSoul You are incorrect in the number that are/were on psychotropic drugs. As for driven by them, I would not say "driven" but I would say there is a connection.

@OwnerOfMany In most of the cases I have read the investigations about...the majority of the perpetrators WERE on medications but had stopped taking them.

@QuixoticSoul By "were" I meant "had been". They either were taking or had been taking psychotropic drugs at one time.

@OwnerOfMany What I was saying is that the drugs are not to blame...most of those people had been taking them and they were helping. The problems came when they stopped taking them.

@indyjoe I was not blaming the drugs in whole, I was saying there was a connection, and there was.
