Looks like ICE just killed another US citizen. Where do we go from here?

Ice is saying the man was carrying a gun and had threatened them with a gun. I presume a handgun. I have no reason to believe or disbelieve that based on what I have read or seen so far.

But - the video I saw showed half a dozen federal agents having the man pinned to the ground, with one agent pistol whipping him. Normally isn’t the training to first and foremost get the gun away and remove that threat? That’s what they do in the movies at least. It looks to me like the guy was already restrained and there were other options of handling the situation besides shooting him.

Initial reports indicated that two observers were in a "shoving match" with eight ICE agents, Will Stancil, a Minneapolis attorney and political commentator, posted on social media.

You never ever lay hands on a police officer for any reason.

An armed 51-year-old man was shot dead Saturday by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told the AP in a text messages that the person had a firearm with two magazines and that the situation was "evolving." DHS distributed a photo of a handgun they said was on the person who was shot
If you point a loaded gun at a police officer what do you think will happen???????

This is getting insane.

That being said I fear what will happen when people have had enough and make use of the 2nd amendment to resist.

We endure. We exercise our rights up to the limits of the law. We call them out. We shame them. We do not give in to violence. They desire violence. They want the excuse.

Don't carry a gun to do a little protest

You stop allowing this politically motivated force to operate and hold them accountable.
