Possibly Meyer Lansky. He was said to be good at managing organized crime’s money.

@rinkydinkydoink Ahh, was that who that character was supposed to represent ? Lansky seemed much more lowkey.

Google it - - read about how Lee Strasberg was a lousy actor, too LOL
EDIT - - okay, maybe not a lousy actor but if he were his own student I don't believe the teacher in him would be too happy 😆

Like Albert Spangler aka Most von Lipwig these people caused innumerable deaths by fractions, in addition of course to all those that they simply ordered to be killed.

None of them. Their MO was to corrupt government institutions and undermine the rule of law. They are completely unsuitable for government, as are most business people.

@rinkydinkydoink He's the only old mobster who gave a lot of money to the poor and put-in several soup kitchens during the depression. He had a great reputation among towns folk no matter where he lived and traveled to. He was very nice and popular with the people around Hot Springs, AR where he had a huge house on the lake. It's still there.

That's right, come to think about it. No matter his possible reasons, he actually did something to help many people like you say.
