The majority of gun owners favor common sense gun control laws. Why don't we have them yet??

Its a regular occurrence, ultimately the 2nd is more important to the people

Well yeah, some heads should roll, but I know they won’t because there’s a significant minority of the population that believes incredibly passionately that any laws restricting guns are unacceptable. That’s like all they care about, that determines how they vote. There’s not anyone on the other side that cares so much about gun control and gun control alone.

@SW-User What will "NEVER HAPPEN"??
These tragedies don't happen in the rest of the world. Why shouldn't we take steps to reduce their frequency here???

2 people were killed and several injured in a shooting at a Texas elementary school
There were 27 school shootings with injuries or deaths this year.
The organization tracks shootings where a firearm was discharged and where any person (other than the suspect) has a bullet wound resulting from the incident. Education Week also includes only incidents that happen on a K-12 school property or on a school bus and that occur when school is in session or during a school-sponsored event.
It doesn't track cases in which the only shots fired were from a school resource officer or police officer.

@ElwoodBlues I’m sorry but why is your argument with me .. become a congressman and work for your change
ElwoodBlues · M
@SW-User My argument with you is that I want a whole lot more than "thoughts & prayers" and "the shooter is in hell" while you seem satisfied with your anodyne platitudes.
What were you referring to with your "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN !!" ??

Cause the pro-gun party are also child abusers. They want children to die. After all they can always make pro-rape laws and have more children. So they dont value life as it is disposable to them.

Because the left will immediately try to say it was racially motivated hate crime like they do about everything.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@CestManan What, like that white supremacist in Buffalo who published a "Great Replacement" manifesto before shooting a bunch of black folks?
CestManan · 46-50, F
@LordShadowfire I guess they pretty much have to say 'racist" before attention is got.

I just wonder why some mass shooters pick a school of all places? If it were a student then that would be one thing but this guy was 18 and likely had no connections to any of the students there.

It has to be accepted as a way of life, or you are too angry to fit in. You won't seem professional, calm and happy enough.

I'm done caring about Americans.

Since Columbine (1999), it’s been our way of life. And just to confirm, Donald Trump reversed restrictions put in place after Sandy Hook, which occurred in 2013. So as horrible as this is, based on results, this kind of thing will probably continue. It breaks my heart, but because people value their guns more than their children, the rest of us are powerless.

Look at it this way. If every day in your neighborhood, somebody got into your garbage can and threw garbage all over the place, you'd eventually either go insane or just start accepting it as a part of life.
I recognize that murdering dozens of children is far from the same thing as somebody going through your trash, but it happens so often that we kind of go numb to it as a survival response.
