Kids die of shooting why's the reaction so muted?

Shouldn't some heads roll for kids being shot or it has to be accepted as a way of life ?

Since Columbine (1999), it’s been our way of life. And just to confirm, Donald Trump reversed restrictions put in place after Sandy Hook, which occurred in 2013. So as horrible as this is, based on results, this kind of thing will probably continue. It breaks my heart, but because people value their guns more than their children, the rest of us are powerless.
