Supreme Court Loses Their Mind!

Do they really think they can fine homeless people? They’re homeless!! So the buck or 2 I give them will now go back to the government? I’d rather see it go on drugs than there. And this is from people that want less government. Go figure!!

Do you remember when I was talking about this during winter?

Is It Legal to Live In The Wilderness?

Look up the The Wilderness Act. This law says they can live and Supreme Court says they cant

Public Law 88-577 (16 U.S.C. 1131-1136)
88th Congress, Second Session
September 3, 1964

@HumanEarth and this is coming from the conservative majority. Family values…blah blah blah.

@HumanEarth The current court has no interest in looking at precedent!

Vote for one side get screwed, vote for the other side get screwed. It's all part to keep the public confused

There are tons of resources for homeless but lots don't want it
Lots have mental health issues & rather be homeless then take the required medicine

@HumanEarth

Just because congress inacted a law doesn't make it constitutional or right
There are many laws over the decades that have been repealed for numerous reasons
There are tons of laws that still need to be repealed

Right, Lunch at Blue Willow or George Webb's, Omicron, or The Copper Penny

@pdockal have you worked with the homeless? How about mental health? If so, you’d know better. The minority don’t want help. Not the majority. And mental health issues aren’t always solved with a pill. Wrong issue to show your ignorance with me.

@pdockal Why can't the homeless chose to be homeless and live that way because they want to. I actually met a guy in Chicago back in March that chosen just that. He wants to live that way and now they want to fine and jail him

@Handfull1

Do you have anything to do with the homeless?
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@pdockal I actually have. It’s been a passion of mine since I worked in the inner city. I’m not as involved as I would like but have definitely been involved. And I talk to them. If I was younger, I’d write a book. They all have a story to tell.
