While I would love to see Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett impeached and their replacements nominated by President Biden, it would be difficult to make a case that they lied under oath. They could always say that the Dobbs case was new information and they based their decision on that. Nominees are always cagey when asked how they would rule in a hypothetical case.
The problem is that no one asked them the right question at their hearing. They should have been asked, "if you had been on the Supreme Court in 1973, how would you have voted on Roe v. Wade?" Since that's a past case that any candidate would be familiar with, it's a perfectly reasonable question that they would have to answer. A refusal to answer would be unacceptable.
"I would have voted to keep abortion illegal." Thanks, you answered the question.
"I would have voted with the majority to protect abortion rights nationwide." Thanks, that's also an answer.
"I can't answer because I've never thought about it" OK, then you're too ignorant to be on the Supreme Court; in fact, you probably shouldn't even be a judge. Interestingly, this is how Thomas responded when asked about abortion rights; that he'd never devoted any thought to the subject.

@DavidT8899 As I said, she was probably flabbergasted that Graham even asked such a silly question.
Remember when Clarence Thomas was asked in his own hearing what his opinion was of abortion, and he said he had never given any thought to the subject. I'm sure you're just fine with that answer.

@LeopoldBloom No,that answer does qualify as an evasion, but her answer is even more so.And FYI:in this day and age,the question is quite common sense. Not long ago, before the crazy woke nonsense that denies basic biology seeped into the culture,I would agree that the question would be rather stupid, and most likely wouldnt have been asked. But in a country where half the citizens are being brainwashed into believing that gender is fluid and men can give birth, the question is ,unfortunately, one that is reasonable.Dont attack the man for asking;lament the fact that the culture has degraded to the point where he had to.

@DavidT8899 She won the Intel science fair in high school, the same competition that several Nobel laureates have won. You may not agree with her politics, but she's not an idiot. Now, Lauren Boebert on the other hand could get lost walking around a tree.

Change of opinions as one gets older is impeachable?
Especially for a Republican.

They should, but we all know Democrats do nothing when Republicans break rules.
