Do you think they age of consent in the UK, should be raised from 16 to 18?

Cause thinking about it, it is a little young.
This age threshold also means that if a person is over 16 and sleeps with someone under 16 they can be charged with statutory rape.

When I was 16 I thought that was a good standard but now I'm like 39 I think 16 is a little young.

I agree it's too young.
The only exception I'd make is for close in age relationships. No reason to charge a 17 year old for sleeping with a 16 year old.
