Ballistics, or simple straight line geometry.

From the forward looking photo of Renee Good’s car, the bullet hole is almost all the way to the right near the A-pillar. Assuming her head was centered over the seat, that means if ross was in front of the car when he fired, he would have missed. The 2nd and 3rd shots came from the side, when Ross was definitely in no danger of being hit.

If the first shot hit her, that means he could not be in front of the car if her head was centered over the seat. A straight line between the center of the seat and the bullet hole does not pass in front of the car.

So unless you have a curved bullet conspiracy, there is no possibility Ross was in danger of being hit when he fired the kill shot. And if he actually had been hit prior to the first shot, it wasn’t hard enough to even make him slip on the icy road.

No wonder 6 prosecutors quit.

Reuters has a second-by-second timeline with video frames.

@ElwoodBlues i question those who reach other conclusions. They seem to be motivated by emotion. I don’t see how anyone can objectively look at the widely available videos or images and conclude that Ross was ever in any danger (he may have thought he was - such as he might not have seen her steering to the right - but that is a failure on ICE’s part). Really, this is very simple geometry along with video and photographic evidence.

In some of the other recent police shootings, I can see where the officer reacted to an extremely combative individual, someone quickly reaching into a pocket, etc. And I think we can agree George Floyd was not exactly an upstanding member of society. The issue there was not pinning him to the ground, but remaining on top of him after he complained he could not breathe.

In this case, she says she is not mad at him, drives away, and gets shot. If you think Ross seriously feared for his safety, they he clearly did not have the mental wherewithal to be in law enforcement.

@sunsporter1649 They lived in the neighborhood. Why was ICE there?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@dancingtongue Lol, and they missed the turn home from daycare by half a mile, and crashed their car trying to turn around, right….
@sunsporter1649 The car only crashed after the mother was shot in the head; did you somehow miss the bloody airbag?? Did you think an American citizen needed special permission to drive down a street?? You've never heard of freedom of assembly, freedom of association, freedom of speech???

Dude, only FASCISTS want to curtail these freedoms, and you know it's true!

@ElwoodBlues So attempted murder of uniformed law enforcement personnel conducting lawful operations is just exercising their First Amendment rights, eh
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@sunsporter1649 no. But that's not what happened here.

@sunsporter1649
attempted murder of uniformed law enforcement personnel

Was that the finding of the official investigation into this sorry episode?

That was quick! It's almost like there was no official inquiry.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@trollslayer @newjaninev2 And who was the lead prosecutor in the inquiry?
@sunsporter1649 asks
And who was the lead prosecutor in the inquiry?
The lead prosecutor was the person who told us that Officer Ross was "violently, willfully, and viciously ran over [sic]" and lucky to be alive.

@sunsporter1649 she crashed the car from being shot
