why don't the police and authorities do anything about this problem

i'm noticing more and more a worrying trend here in the uk, i don't know if this is an problem in other countries in europe, america, australia or canada......but here i notice in our cities or towns or the streets, youths wandering around wearing black, the hoods pulled up wearing face masks?, they look very dangerous and criminal, and are up to no good i imagine.....but it seems they are being allowed to roam freely...and dress like that?

why are the police allowing that? why are they not arresting them?...these youths they intimidate people and make the streets feel unsafe, you see them a lot in london now, manchester and birmingham too.....no wonder this country has a lot of problems now, they have allowed too many migrants here who are unknown to us and there is evidently a big problem with knife crime and gangs here today.

once again why are the cops and law enforcement not doing anything about this problem?

Those young men belong to the group known as Antifa.

President Trump plans to designate them as a terrorist organization. They intimidate ordinary citizens, and they are known to become extremely violent during protests; creating riots, setting fires, breaking windows, and attacking I.C.E. vehicles and officers.

If YOUR country were not in the grip of Keir Starmer and his panty-waist globalist/socialist Parliament, they would soon be outlawed in YOUR country, as well.

@4meAndyou yes i've heard of Antifa, but i just thought these were just gangs of antisocial youths...either way they are intimating, i've never seen any in my area but i see there's a lot of them in the big cities now, i live in a little town, and thankfully it's ok round here for now and yes starmer is a major problem, i see a lot of people don't like him and its perfectly understandable, anyway thanks for answering again, are you playing 'sherlock ' tonight? - either way have a nice night.

Mostly, a person must actually attempt a crime before police can do anything about it. It’s not against the law here in the US to dress in black and look scary to some people. I get why it might be scary, but it’s not illegal.

@Mamapolo2016 Actually there is a law on the books in Michigan making it a crime to wear a mask in public....except for Halloween. Kind of moot after the government mandated everyone wear one for covid.

The original ban came after the anarchist related terrorism in pre WWI 20th century.
