@Darksideinthenight2 Interesting statistic. It's not so much the thought of having to fire a gun though, just the fact that I don't have the assertiveness and stuff needed to be a cop.

Do you watch Chicago PD, Chicago Fire or Chicago Med ? I know you live there, so if you watch them, do you see familiar places in that city ?
My brother’s a retired policeman, and when he watches police shows, he often is critical ("it’s not like that !") In fact, he has said the show that came closest to his day to day experiences as a cop was Barney Miller—and he’s not the only police officer I’ve heard say that. 😊

What's even weirder is, I love cop shows, but I don't love cops in real life. Cop shows give the impression that the police are competent and honorable, with only a few exceptions. That's not my experience.
