Police question.

If your looking for a trans person but your not aloud to say if theyre male or female, how do you give a description?

I'm not sure trans status is not allowed, but there are other descriptors police use. Race, age range, height, body type, hair color, clothing, distinctive features, known areas they frequent, possible aliases

Thankfully in the real world they would say male or female.

They would use the term Suspect if there some level of doubt.

@PHlover19701 but if your telling someone to look for that person they would say, the suspect is described as: .....

@GuyWithOpinions ....wearing x,y,z..plus any distinguishingfeatures....driving/ riding x ....

There are plenty of times when gender is unknown...too dark to determine, coverings such as clothes/ disguise, etc. If the suspect presents as male or female that may be included.. 'presents-as' versus a definitive determination are two different things.
