@JohnnyNoir If you say so.Look,a big part of me still thinks you are B.S ing me,but whatever,it's pointless to argue about it.If this is a story, shame on you.If what you are telling me is true, than I hope you stay safe and have a good rest of your life.

@DavidT8899 oh I'm messing. That's what I get for watching Sopranos all day
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@JohnnyNoir I rather suspected that.Ah well, that's what too much T.V can do to you.

It all depends on type of witness and if their life will be in jeopardy if an immediate family member contacts him or her. The final decision will have to be made by the U.S. Marshall's Office.

They could do it through the FBI probably. Anyone in protection, goes in to keep family safe, so there is no contact. The only way, would have be from agents without actual direct contact.

As I said. The witness may be able to write a letter, but all it would do is tell the family he’s in witness protection. Any other details could be used to compromise the location. They would be edited out.

Are you asking for a friend?
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Northwest No,I'm asking out of personal curiosity.I was under the impression that was one of the main purposes of this site.
SomeMichGuy · M
No, not unless they are in it together.
4meAndyou · F
All the tv movies I have seen say NO.
TheShanachie · 61-69, M
No
It's not recomended, however if there is an emergency they can go through the U.S. Marshall's office, the agency that runs the program.
