She answered, "Yes."
DA Rollins enacted the policy memo identifying more than a dozen charges she said should be declined for prosecution. Those crimes included shoplifting, larceny, disorderly conduct, receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license, breaking and entering with property damage, wanton and malicious destruction of property, threats, minor in possession of alcohol, marijuana possession, possession with intent to distribute, non-marijuana drug possession.

You can complain about Boston politics all you want. I am also free to tell you that Michelle Wu doesn't care what you think, because you don't in Boston, and whats happening in Boston, is not the collapse of the American dream. It simply does not fit your vision of what an American city should be like.
It doesn't mean that Bostonians are snowflakes, it simply means they don't want to live like you want them to.

We all know how this will go down. They will stop prosecuting all this crime,
then show everyone the new crime rate statistics, as they will go down due
to not prosecuting crime. Democrats will become heroes for reducing crime,
and other Democrat cities will follow. Seattle will be next, and Democrats
will learn to love it.

She’s an elitist ( Harvard grad) and as a politician is an artist at bullshitting “ constituents “, the forte of most politicians…
…but the ones to blame are those who voted her into office.
Rest assured if this becomes the norm, the floodgates will be opened and those who voted for her, and/ or are ok with it; will in time become the victims of this dangerous thinking.
