i watch a lot of true crime:

dateline, 20/20, 48 hours...not ID.

but i have noticed..there is a narrative of black people often being the perpetrators of violent crime.

do you believe this is a deliberate narrative on the part of media, with the intent to divide?

or..do you think it is mostly representative..

orrr..do you think the stories are chosen solely on the intrigue of said stories?

I love true crime too. My experience is the same as most of the statistics. People generally crime against people who look like they do. Interracial crime is actually not the norm. And that's usually what I see in the crime shows I watch. More times than not I see family members hurting each other or people who started off friends.

@SW-User it's crazy how a murderer of one would be super kind to others at times..sometimes crimes of passion occur, unfortunately. im not sure any of us could say, with 100% certainty, that we wouldnt do something wrong in the "right" circumstance
