Do you support the police force?

I don't think a large, complex and dense population of humans can exist without the need for law, justice and people to help enforce it.
We definitely need police, but we need them to be far better selected, trained and supervised. It is not okay to have the police themselves being criminals. Even one or a few "bad apples" is not acceptable - but the problems are worse than that; they are systemic.
We need better leadership and more funding to achieve the kind of police we want and need. It has to start at the top.

Yes. We actually need a conscripted police force even just to make people understand what it is like to police their own streets while simultaneously resolving the rampant crime problem that we have just decided to accept as normal in the US.

If the US was any country in Europe with the level of crime we have in some cities, we would have martial law.

Police for the most part are nice here, so the answer is, yes.
