You're starting off with a false premise right out of the gate — you don't even want him to be detained, indicted, tried, investigated, etc, etc, never mind convicted

And you people keep side-stepping everything else. In the specific case of this post, anyone else would've been arrested by now. You people always avoid things like that, you always want to shift the subject to something else. And you always want to pretend crimes are not crimes when Trump commits them, despite claiming to be lovers of law and order.

They are bending over backwards to accommodate him because regardless of your opinion of him, he is a former president and prosecuting him will be a major historical event. So everything must be perfect with no possible claim of prejudice.
