Some people are so quick to generalize and demonize police

but they think it's so simple. Yes there are bad police but you cannot make assumptions about all of them.

People who denounce the police are talking about the whole system, though. They don't mean that all police officers are bad people (even if that is how they talk sometimes!) They believe the whole institution of policing is bad.

@cyberdude28 That's kind of the question. Do we need a police force or could the functions we want them to serve be done better in other ways?
