How do you think our interpretation of the world would be different if written language and words did not exist?

I have to think about this great question! In this alternate world would we still have communications technologies like we do now, but all oral or visual with no text? Or would we be like traditional societies with no written language?
If absence of oral language means there is telepathic communication, we would very likely be out of this low consciousness and a much smoother existence.
It's like now - what emergency? Nobody said nothing here - ever! Or nobody sees it when I do. Humanity is toast and speech was wasted on the American death machine.

There would be no abstract thought. No store of knowledge to build upon. Life would be nasty, brutish and short.

Absence of words means, absence of even an oral language. That would be too primitive.
There would not have been any interpretation if language did not exist

A lot of people have no inner monologue so they're probably living it
