Aren't you sick of conservatives pretending to like jews?
Who can remember catchy phrases such as : "Jews will not replace us" "Jewish Space Lasers" "Globalist" = code word for Jews & rothchilds
And these fake ass "pro life" evilgelicals hoping for the end times are welcome the pull a Jim Jones asap since they're so eager to meet God. The rest of us will be better off
So here's the thing, right. That chant is obviously the most pure antisemitism you can verbalise, and most conservatives would be justifiably horrified at that.
But they still believe it. They just don't use those words. Because it all ties back to the grand antisemitic narrative of shadowy forces controlling the world who are bent on destroying our society and entrenching their own power through mechanisms like the replacement of the white race. By repeating these stories, they entrench antisemitism because the most extreme element dig deeper and find the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and its antecedents.
And what's terrifying is that conspiracy theories are mainstream conservative thought right now. Globalism, the deep state, covid or global warming as a hoax - all of that requires a sophisticated functioning conspiracy to work there. Even back when everyone was freaking about "The convoy" in 2018 and how it had shadowy funders.
Who are (((them))) behind all the conspiracies? "Jews will not replace us" - that shit is literally about the American/Mexican border.
Antisemitism is a serious fucking problem right now, and getting worse. And what we do is that we turn it into this dumb question of "Do you support Israel or Hamas". God, it pisses me off.
@SumKindaMunster "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free" has nothing to do with exterminating Jews it's about Palestinian people from West Bank to Gaza having, you know, freedom and not living under military occupation.
It is extremely frustrating to have what can be fairly complex and thoughtful beliefs flattened into "Oh you're just a Hamas supporter who wants to kill the Jews". A free Palestine and a homeland for the Jewish people are not incompatible concepts.
And it's a far cry from "Jews will not replace us" which sure as hell isn't being chanted at pro-Palestinian rallies, but weirdly, was chanted at a rally over the removal of a Robert E Lee statue.

It's being co-opted by radical Palestinian supporters to reflect their desire to get rid of the Jews.

Oh really??? Gosh, what's that like? Having your beliefs and comments constantly questioned with purity tests, being forced to answer for things that have nothing to do with your point or beliefs, and having people obnoxiously assume your beliefs and opinions based on one comment. Must be tough for you.

You go right ahead and make that event the most important thing that happened to you ever, and let it influence your opinion of Conservatives.
I'll go right ahead and assume you support Palestinian protestors interested in killing Jews.
Also, it seemed mind-boggling to me that Trump supporters support are isolationist foreign policy (see Ukraine) but actively support Israel bombing the f**k out of Gaza. They are sick of Europe 'using them as an ATM machine' but want to give Israel a blank check. Send in the carriers and stand with our brother against the bad guys. Why Israel and not Ukraine? Then I thought about it.
The only explanation I can come up with for these two apparent contradictions is one very cynical and yet very simple answer. Nothing else works as a rationale for this priority change and this answers both of our questions at once:
@Burnley123 Hey Burnley, my question was actually directed towards Trashcan but thanks for replying.
"Globalist" has anti Semetic origins? Ok, and if I use it in the non "Jews run the world" sense do you understand my reference?
From my perspective, the US democrats are. lesser evils. I don't even think they are even much of a lesser evil on israel Palestine at all. On foreign policy and on Israel Palestine in particular, I'm in outright opposition to them.
One thing I appreciate about you is that you are typically morally consistent. I appreciate not having to call you out on hypocrisy. My personal opinion is that the whole issue is a mess, and the only sensible path forward is to end the fighting and negotiate. Too much history, too many retaliations, too many fake promises of peace and harmony.
Don't see that happening anytime soon. The Israeli's are rightly pissed about what happened and again, I am pretty certain they will flatten Gaza, then impose military rule over it to prevent this from happening again.

The Zionists are intent on doing a 100% ethnic cleansing of the Levant area.

@samueltyler2 i wish I had remembered Putin's russia. Putin loves Hamas, was the only world leader to warmly welcome the leader of Hamas, and is fostering antisemitic crowds looking for Jews in russian Airports and Hotels. No criticism or anything towards their beloved Vladamir there...
@SumKindaMunster Well, girlfriend... no one stopped you from asking the questions, did they? Im not one of your coward friends who block people because I don't like what they say. You can ask whatever you want.
The right love Israel but hate the Jews. Whereas the left tends to love the Jews and Palestinians but hate Israel. But if you say you hate Israel the actual antisemites will call you an antisemite even though they are literally antisemitic. Reminds me of this I found on r/atheism:
I'm sick of brain dead losers regurgitating inaccurate propaganda straight from left wing publications and acting like they did something noble or righteous.
You're just another indoctrinated tool carry water for the rich and powerful.
@zaatar They just hate everyone. Have you heard the one about the conservative who hates gays be feels emboldened to feign faux disgust at gay executions iin muslim autocracies?
