A statistician is waiting in an airport....

.....to board his flight. Sitting next to him is a man who is visibly very nervous. The statistician asks him if he's alright and the man responds,

"I just get so nervous flying these days. You never know what could happen! What if someone brings a bomb on board?? Do you ever think of these things?"

The statistician smiles and responds, "Oh yes, I used to be just as nervous as you. But then I did my research. And I learned that while there is a small chance that someone could have brought a bomb, there has never been a single case of there being two bombs on an aircraft. So that's why I always bring my own." 💣
