The next morning, while they’re sitting down for breakfast and a cuppa, the young woman looks out the window and spots her neighbor hanging her washing out on the line. "Far out, that laundry’s not very clean," she says. "She’s got no idea how to do a proper wash. Needs to get herself some decent laundry powder, aye?" Her husband looks over, but keeps his mouth shut and stays quiet. Every single time the neighbour hangs her clothes out on the line to dry, the young woman makes the exact same comments. About a month later, the woman gets a right shock. She looks outside and sees a pristine, spotless wash hanging on the line. She turns to her husband and says: "Check that out! She’s finally figured out how to do her washing properly. Wonder who gave her a hand?" Her husband takes a sip of his tea and says, "Nah, mate. I just got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."
