an old man went into a local cafe sat down and scanned the menu
for something to eat
the waitress was a nice looking slip of a thing old enough to be his
grandaughter
the young waitress walked up to his table smiled politely and said
to the old man are you ready to order your food yet sir
the old man raised his head from the menu and said yes i am thank
you can i have a quickie please
the young waitress was horrified by this request and so taken aback
walked away in disgust
the young waitress waited five minutes or so composing herself
before going back to the old mans table
the waitress again smiled and asked the old man are you ready sir
to order your food yet
the old man said yes i am can i have a quickie please the young
waitress by that point has had enough of this and slapped the old
man across the face and walked off again
the old man was shocked by this unwarranted assault the man on
the next table hearing all this leant over and siad i think you will find
it is actually pronounced quiche
