The shop owner, known for his skill as a savvy merchant, says that black bras in that size are rare and that he's finding it difficult to source them from his suppliers. Therefore, he has to charge $80.00 for them.
The vendor buys 25 bras.
He returns a few days later and this time orders fifty.
The shop owner tells him that they have become even harder to get and charges him $100.00 each.
The vendor returns a month later and buys the shop owner's remaining stock of 50, this time for $120.00 each.
The shop owner is somewhat puzzled by the large, increasing demand for black size 38 bras and finally asks the vendor, "...please tell me—What exactly do you do with all these black bras?"
The vendor answers: "I cut them in half and sell them as ear warmers to mountain climbers for $200.00 each."
