The roofers are starting early this morning!!

7:16 a.m. They are running drills up there and banging. Yesterday they were banging at 8:00 a.m. It is doubtful that they will finish the job by the end of August, which is what they were supposed to do. They've quit during the worst of the summer...

We should be getting our new roof in a week or two. Our roof should take about 3 days. Of course our house is a lot smaller than your apartment complex.

@4meAndyou Sadly it is at Cummins in Tampa right now getting a new fuel pump for the generator otherwise I would. I was actually thinking about that. It was supposed to be ready today. Tomorrow I can't go and they are closed on the weekends. ☹☹☹

When I had my roof replaced on my home a few years ago, they did the entire job from stripping off the old shingles and putting on the new ones in one day.

The work can be done faster, even on a big job. Heat comes with the job of being a roofer, I'm surprised that they don't keep working, but well hydrated.
