Entertainment night at the senior home
was always a highlight, and this evening was no exception. After the community sing-along led by Alice at the piano, everyone eagerly awaited the star of the show—Claude the Hypnotist!
Claude took center stage and explained with great flair, "Tonight, I’m going to put the entire audience into a trance. Yes, each and every one of you, all at the same time!"
The room buzzed with excitement before falling into an anticipatory hush as Claude slowly withdrew from his waistcoat pocket a beautiful antique gold pocket watch and chain.
"Keep your eyes on this watch," he instructed, holding it high for all to see. "This is a very special and valuable watch that has been in my family for six generations."
