@antonioioio I don't know what it is about that movie that strikes such a cord with me. The fact that he overcame his prejudices and for all intents and purposes adopts the kids next door, and dies for them...or the sad way his son neglects him and doesn't care about him at all, and brushes him off, so that he doesn't even feel comfortable telling him he is dying. Or the beautiful and calm way he doesn't tell anyone what he is going to do to those gang members...and he goes and gets his first and last straight shave, and his first and last fitted suit.

@4meAndyou If you think of the barber shop scene I start thinking he isn't prejudice, he's from a different time when talking like that was acceptable. If it hadn't been the kids welcoming him in he'd probably still be sitting on that porch

@4meAndyou the way he gets justice in the end and leaves the mustang to the kid in his will and he drives off in it as the movie ends
