So, David and Sarah are sadly killed in a traffic crash.
They make their way up to the pearly gates of Heaven where they are met by St. Peter.
St. Peter says, "Sorry we had to meet under such tragic circumstances, but you'll be glad to know there's nothing preventing you from entering the kingdom of Heaven !"
David asks "Sir, we are very much in love and we wondered if it was possible to get married in Heaven "
St. Peter looks a bit sheepish and replies
"Erm....to tell the truth it might take me a while to find out. But if it's that important to you you'll have to wait here while i try and find out ?"
They both nod in agreement so St. Peter rolls his eyes, turns and walks through the gates of Heaven in a bid to find out.
While they wait, David and Sarah discuss everything.
What they did in life; regrets on the things that never worked out; things they wished they had done etc.
It took six weeks for St. Peter to return !
"Right !" Says an exasperated St. Peter.
"Yes ! If it's that important to you, you might be able to get married in Heaven !
David looks a bit sheepish and says
"Actually, since you've been gone, one of the things we discussed was whether divorce was possible.
You know. In case things didn't work out ?"
St. Peter slams his fist on his desk and the echo and vibration could be felt and heard throughout Heaven !
"Look." He says.
"It took me six weeks to find a Priest up here !
What do you think are the chances of locating a Lawyer ?"
