@4meAndyou In Virginia our furnace was natural gas. We really liked it.

@Musicman In Plymouth, propane was our backup. We had a propane stove, and I LOVE cooking on a gas stove, AND we had the propane piped over to a "wood burning" stove, so that we could use it as a heat source when the power failed. We had a gas generator to run the fridge and the water pump. ALL our water was pumped uphill from an artesian well.

@4meAndyou We had a generator too. I would have preferred a whole house natural gas fed one though. That would have made life really nice. 🙂
