I don't know why Youtubers think "comedian" is a qualification

They have no skills or talents, nor do they really bother to learn much about what they cover, they just want to be covering whatever the latest thing to have an opinion on is, and so make a few "jokes" about people they disagree with, and then name their videos "comedian reacts to x". You make "jokes", how is that a qualification? Especially one for politics?

You aren't on the level of John Cleese or Rowan Atkinson.

And even if you were - and even though I love Cleese and Atkinson - I'm not interested in their political views. They make jokes. So, I don't see how being a "comedian" is now being used as a sort of qualification to talk about politics.

Comedians satire politics all the time. Which comedian has not done a bit of political riffing, look at George Carlin.

@TheEmperor Hmm mind linking an example? I don't watch those, nor am I even aware of the phenomenon. My Youtube is filled with music and watching crocodile videos lol
