On Getting Married/Divorced in Heaven
A young catholic couple was on their way to be married and got into a fatal accident and while sitting outside the pearly gates they wondered if they could get married in heaven.
St Peter arrives and they ask him can we get married in heaven.
St Peter says, I’m not really sure. Let me go find out.
While waiting for Peter the couple starts to talk and wonder if things don’t work out would they be able to get a divorce.
After several months Peter arrives back with the good news that yes they can get married in heaven.
The young couple then says but what if things don’t work out for us can we also get a divorce.
Peter slams down his clip board and looks at them as mad as can be… Look he said …it took me almost six months to find a priest in heaven how long do you think it will take me to find a lawyer .
