I like the way you think, though I've seen coverage showing how hard it is on the drivers to focus on driving so intently--at high speeds!--on that task and to not overheat, have their sweat...etc....taken care of...

@SomeMichGuy at the slowest track they run over 100mph most tracks they run much faster than that and at the larger speedways 2- 2 1/2 mile long tracks they average closer to 200 mph

@ArcticDave WRC racing is the sh*t !! They run on actual roadways on asphalt, concrete, gravel, dirt, sand and can run on all those surfaces on the same leg of a race. They go so fast they have a codriver that just reads out the upcoming track from a printed sheet.

@SomeMichGuy WRC World Rally Car is real racing !!! It takes racing to a whole new level. Go pull up some WRC race clips on YouTube, you will be impressed even if you don't like motor racing.
